3DEXPERIENCE doesn't have a single, integrated feature for managing all user accounts, rights, roles, and licenses. System administrators require in-depth 3DEXPERIENCE knowledge to create users correctly and efficiently. Dassault Systèmes recommends creating users via a server-side import batch job.
We offer you a proprietary add-on application for simple and centralized management of user accounts, rights & roles, and licenses. Our tool has a direct connection to the 3DEXPERIENCE database for managing users, including their assigned organizations, team workspaces, licenses, and roles/permissions.

3DEXPERIENCE defines a user's access permissions to objects based on organization, team workspace (Collab Space), and individual role. While these standard functionalities are fundamentally suitable for managing company-specific access permissions to objects, their implementation is complex and administratively demanding. Manual interactions in the form of approvals are required to assign read and write permissions to data.
We implement customer-specific project authorization in 3DEXPERIENCE. A predefined project structure, including authorizations, is automatically created in 3DEXPERIENCE, and corresponding rights are directly inherited by existing or newly created objects. We implement a structured data organization that enables extended access rights assignment. Customer-specific security requirements (e.g., collaboration with external partners) are taken into account during the 3DEXPERIENCE implementation.
Our implementation significantly simplifies the management of access rights to objects in 3DEXPERIENCE. Individual permissions for objects can be automatically extended. No manual interaction is required regarding data delimitation, as automated processes are used throughout. The customer benefits from significantly reduced administrative effort and reduced risks of unauthorized data access.
