When implementing 3DEXPERIENCE in a company, adapting the standard software to company-specific processes and methods plays a key role. Thanks to numerous successfully implemented projects, valexcon GmbH has built up extensive expertise in this area.

We can individually implement a wide range of customer requirements, for example workflow-specific import processes or the creation of parts lists derived from 3DEXPERIENCE in other formats.

Data migration to 3DEXPERIENCE

A key aspect of every 3DEXPERIENCE transformation project is data migration from the legacy system. Avoiding data loss or degradation in data quality is essential. For migration from any PLM system to 3DEXPERIENCE, valexcon GmbH uses its proprietary "Migration Suite". This solution is individually adapted to the specific requirements of each project, such as the customer-specific data model.

The migration process consists of four phases: data export, data preparation for import, data import, and post-processing. In each of these phases, customer-specific adjustments are typically made to ensure a smooth and efficient migration.

3DEXPERIENCE widget programming / interface extension

In 3DEXPERIENCE, a widget is a standalone, web-based application that runs within the 3DEXPERIENCE dashboard. Widgets provide a user-friendly interface for various functions and enable interactive use of the platform without the need to install additional software.

Some important features of widgets in 3DEXPERIENCE:

Modularity: Widgets can be individually assembled and organized into dashboards.
Interactivity: They provide access to specific functions e.g. data analysis, project management or product design.
Customizability: Companies can develop their own widgets or extend existing ones to support specific business processes.
Data integration: Widgets can communicate with other systems and data sources within 3DEXPERIENCE to create a seamless working environment.

Adapting or extending the 3DEXPERIENCE interface requires in-depth expertise in widget programming. valexcon GmbH has extensive expertise in this area and seamlessly integrates both new functions and adaptations or extensions of existing features into 3DEXPERIENCE.

3DEXPERIENCE Change Actions -- Adaptation of process flows

Process flows are mapped in 3DEXPERIENCE using so-called Change Actions. Typical processes in product development include release, change, and data exchange processes.

valexcon GmbH provides preconfigured templates for this purpose, allowing you to efficiently implement individual customer processes. With templates created specifically for your requirements, your development processes can be quickly implemented in your 3DEXPERIENCE.

Interface programming for connecting third-party systems

The 3DEXPERIENCE platform has an open architecture and can be seamlessly integrated into a company's existing IT infrastructure via provided interfaces.

valexcon GmbH has acquired extensive expertise in the 3DEXPERIENCE API and has successfully developed interfaces to a wide variety of third-party systems in numerous projects. Close integration between 3DEXPERIENCE and SAP has been particularly frequently implemented.
